  CLOSED. Island Time Happy Hour - 4-7pm - is still an okay deal, nice crowd, but no longer our favorite spot for happy hour. They have grown "stingier" over time. We were regular patrons, always brought out of town guests, etc., and recommended to many locals who had never tried. As a couple, we averaged about $120 in drinks for 2 and extra $ for a few appetizers in less than an hour. We had parties of 6-8 there every other month and spent over $500 or more during Happy Hour and sometimes stayed on for dinner. I was extremely upset when we brought a large party for happy hour, found no seats left in the bar, but almost all seats in outdoor cafe were available. So, even though it was sweltering afternoon, we asked to be seated outside due to overcrowded bar and after being seated learned they no longer extended "happy hour" specials to the outdoor area. The hostess contradicted me in a very haughty, impatient manner in front of my guests when I asked why they changed their policy--she claimed it was never the case when I knew otherwise, having been served happy hour outside a dozen times. When I asked her why she did not advise of this before she seated us, knowing our dilemma, she kindly suggested we could go back and stand in the bar! Ridiculous policy and bad attitude--the patio cafe was empty as was the restaurant area. We left and they lost a big tab. They have increased their happy hour appetizer prices, reduced the volume of food on plates, while also increasing their specialty drink prices and limiting the selections. They took our favorite "coconut shrimp" off the happy hour menu. Similar to a reviewer below, we loved the fixed price menu but they didn't seem to offer menu last time there. Also, entertainment during happy hour is less frequent--they used to have small band or musician, always on Fridays. We were disappointed by that change having promised one set of guests some entertainment. Suggestions - they should reduce hostesses--always standing around, have a Saks 5th Avenue attitude, smug rather than helpful, and add the extra resource to wait/bar staff. They need to make their food and beverage more affordable or restore those "extra touches" and classy service now lacking. I miss the Tommy's I experienced during their first 2 years. Funny, Google removed my former glowing review and I am glad they did!
